This policy covers Mothstack Claude Connectors, an internal tool run by Mothstack (mothstack.io).

What this app is

Mothstack Claude Connectors lets members of the Mothstack team connect their own Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive to Claude, an AI assistant made by Anthropic. It lets Claude read and edit those files when a team member asks it to.

The app is for internal Mothstack use only. It is not offered to the public or to clients.

What data the app can access

When someone signs in with Google and approves access, the app can reach:

  • The content and details of Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive files in that person's account
  • Only the permissions that person approves on Google's consent screen

The app asks for these Google permissions:

  • documents: view and edit Google Docs
  • spreadsheets: view and edit Google Sheets
  • drive.file: view and manage files the app opens or creates
  • drive.readonly: view files in Google Drive

How the data is used

The data is used only to do what the signed-in person asks Claude to do, such as reading a document, updating a spreadsheet, or creating a new file.

Mothstack does not:

  • Sell Google user data
  • Use it for advertising
  • Use it to train AI models
  • Share it with anyone beyond what's needed to complete the person's request

Where the data goes

Mothstack doesn't run its own servers for this app and doesn't keep copies of your Google data.

Requests go through Google's hosted services and through Anthropic's Claude. Those companies' own privacy policies also apply:

Google API Services

Mothstack Claude Connectors' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

You can remove the app's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. You can also disconnect it in Claude under Settings → Connectors.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
